Hier ein weiteres Video von Anna Rose Childress, es handelt sich um einen Vortrag anlässlich des Biarritz, 29. Sept. bis 2. Okt. 2015.

In dem Vortrag (englisch) geht es um die mit bildgebenden Verfahren gewonnenen Erkenntnisse über die im Gehirn ablaufenden Mechanismen, wenn Süchtige einem „Trigger“ (Reiz) ausgesetzt sind, welcher ihr Suchtverhalten beeinflusst und verstärkt, und dass diese Mechanismen mit reiner Willenskraft so gut wie nicht beherrscht werden können.

Auf Baclofen, welches diese Mechanismen vielversprechend positiv beeinflusst, geht sie dann am Ende ihres Vortrages, ab ca. Minute 29:00 ein. arbeitet an der University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, und forscht schon seit vielen Jahren

Ich möchte diesen Beitrag von fets wieder aufnehmen. Es handelt sich um ein Youtube-Video von einem US-Amerikanischen Kabel-Fernsehanbieter (Time Warner). Frau Dr. Anna Rose Childress, eine Forscherin der University of Pennsylvania, hat mit Hilfe der Hirnaktivitäten von kokainabhängigen Patienten abgebildet, welche einem das Suchtverhalten auslösenden Schlüsselreiz (Trigger) ausgesetzt waren.

Ohne Baclofen, d.h. mit Placebo, wird durch das ein wahres Feuerwerk an Aktivitäten im Hirn entfacht, vergleichbar mit einem lauten Schreien („Go! Go! Go!“), während unter Baclofen nur noch ein leises Flüstern zu vernehmen ist. Die Behandlung (Baclofen / Placebo) dauerte sieben Tage, die Dosis wird nicht angegeben.

Das Youtube-Video hat eine Länge von 2:28 Minuten, die vollständige Version (10:54 Minuten) kann man sich bei Das Datum des Beitrages ist leider nicht ersichtlich, in Youtube eingestellt wurde er am 16.07.2009, ist also schon etwas älter. Mehrfach wird in dem Videobeitrag (im Original) darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich bei Suchterkrankung um eine biologische Erkrankung des Gehirns handelt. Interessant: Frau Dr. Anna Rose Childress hat ihren Doktor in Philosophie gemacht.
