es gibt vereinzelte Studien und inzwischen auch einige Entzugskliniken, die Baclofen zur Behandlung von AWS (alcohol withdrawal syndrome - alkoholbedingtes Entzugssyndrom) untersuchten bzw. einsetzen. Eine Studie, die mir in diesem Zusammenhang gerade einfällt, ist von Addolorato et al. (2006). Sie bezieht sich auf einen Vergleich zwischen Baclofen und Diazepam. Darin wird Baclofen beim "unkomplizierten" Entzug eine vergleichbare Wirkung wie Diazepam attestiert:

Ich selbst habe noch keine Erfahrung mit Baclofen im Bezug auf die Behandlung von AWS gemacht. Benzos sind auch nicht die erste Wahl, am häufigsten wird bei uns immer noch mit Distraneurin (ausschließlich stationär) behandelt.

Beim Lesen dieses Freds ist bei mir eine Frage aufgekommen.
Lindert Baclofen auch die Entzugserscheinungen?

Falls nein, dann hielten sich diese bei mir sehr in Grenzen.
