GHB führt zu einer enorm schnellen Toleranzentwicklung und Abhängigkeit, die extrem schwer zu behandeln ist. Die Entzugserscheinungen sind identisch mit denen beim Alkoholentzug (der sich damit "behandeln" läßt).
Auf dem Suchtkongress in Bonn 2013 referierte eine niederländische Arbeitsgruppe über die enormen Probleme des GHB-Entzugs. GHB-Missbraucher brechen Entgiftungen regelmäßig ab und werden fast immer rückfällig.
Der Einsatz von Natriumoxybat bei Alkoholismus erinnert an die Versuche, Morphinismus mit Heroin zu heilen!

Möchte an dieser Stelle nur noch einmal anmerken, dass GHB unter dem Namen Alcover in verschiedenen Ländern (Italien, Österreich) zur Behandlung des Alkoholentzugs zugelassen ist, und es wird immer mal wieder auch als Anticravingsubstanz erwähnt. Die Unterschätzung der Suchtgefahr hierbei finde ich unglaublich ignorant.

Es muss Dich nicht überraschen, „dass sich einige User hier befinden, die Alkohol im Wechsel mit GBL/GHB "substituieren“. Aber wer substituiert da eigentlich mit was und wofür? GBL/GHB kann kein „Substitut“ für Alkohol sein und umgekehrt funktioniert das auch nicht. Unser @Papfl hat das weiter oben Aber was können wir, was kannst Du jetzt genau daraus machen?

Na ja, halt eben „durchbeißen“ oder noch besser es mit dem Medikament Baclofen versuchen. Das Wirkspektrum dieses Medikaments (Baclofen) ist jedenfalls gleichenfalls für die Abhängigkeit von GBL/GHB als auch und für die Abhängigkeit von Alkohol geeignet. Du müsstest es einfach mal probieren.
